UGA Student Chapter of AIChE
Meetings:
This semester is assuming a hybrid format where the meetings will assume a zoom and in-person format interchangeable. . The meeting are held on the first and third Monday of every month and the zoom link (as applicable) will be given out before each meeting in the Club GroupMe. All of the Club meetings for this semester have also been uploaded on the College of Engineering's Calendar which can be accessed by clicking on the word 'Calendar.'
Objectives:

To promote the professional development of its members through its programs and its relations with other Student Chapters and with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (hereafter referred to as the “Institute”),

To contribute to the development of chemical engineering at the University of Georgia through activities involving faculty and student members, and

To develop a community of engineering students and professionals
First Monday of the Month (Academic Meeting):
UGA AIChE will host academic and industry professionals to present on their experience in their field. We will also host industry and lab tours to expose students to what working in biochemical engineering and related fields is like.

Third Monday of the Month (Skills Meeting):
UGA AIChE holds virtual workshops that are meant to develop valuable resume skills. Examples include 3D printing, Practicality in Chemical Engineering, Basic Coding, and Aspen Plus.
